Hi, I’m Candace!

If you know me, you know how much photography means to me. For years, I’ve poured my heart into capturing moments - whether behind the scenes as an Enhanced Services Photographer at American Musical Supply, or through freelance work where I explored everything from Lightroom and Photoshop to marketing and equipment mastery.

But for a long time, something tugged at me - a dream I kept close. The dream of creating something truly my own.

And now, I’m so proud to share that I’ve finally done it. I’ve started my own photography business.
Introducing: Ralph Stanley Studio.

This name holds my heart. It’s in honor of my late father, Ralph Stanley Atkinson - my hero, my biggest fan, the man who always believed in me. When I was searching for the perfect name, my good friend Josh asked me, “What means the most to you and makes you smile?”
Without hesitation, my dad came to mind. His love, his belief in my art, and the legacy he left behind… that’s what this studio is built on.

Ralph Stanley Studio is more than just a business - it's a reflection of my soul.
It’s about capturing life the way I see it - through emotion, light, color, and story. It’s about freezing time, creating meaning, and sharing art that makes people feel something real.

We offer a wide range of photography services and custom art pieces, each created with love and intention. Whether it’s a special moment you want to preserve or a piece of art that speaks to you, I’m here to help bring that vision to life.
