Some people come into your life and you just know God had something to do with the timing. Blaire is one of those people for me. ❤️
During a season of huge life changes, Blaire stepped in and helped me coach volleyball at Bergan during our family’s first year there. Little did I know, she was exactly the person I needed beside me during that chapter of life. She’s one of those rare people in whom I can so clearly see the heart of Jesus and I’m honored that He brought us together in friendship.
When Cole started showing up in her posts, I figured anyone who could make Blaire smile like that had to be pretty special. Boy, was I right! Watching the way these two love each other—and getting to capture it—made my heart ridiculously happy.
Somewhere between the lake, the amazing sunset that showed up after rain clouds all day, and the old boat, our session turned a little Notebook on us… and I’m not mad about it. 😂 Especially considering Blaire HATES bugs, yet still followed me through tall grass and climbed into a boat because I promised it would be worth it. If that isn’t love and trust, I don’t know what is!!
But truly, this night gave me something I didn’t even realize I needed. It filled my cup. It reminded me how much I love capturing real connection and the stories God allows me to step into for just a little while. I’m learning that God has a beautiful way of placing the right people in our path at the right time—and sometimes He uses them to quietly remind us where we’re supposed to be going.
