Back from a weekend of camping with absolutely no cell service. While it was a much needed little break from the internet, I'm happy to be back. I have a very busy week ahead, including editing, shooting 8 sessions and really getting into the swing of things now that all kids are back in school. Busy season is crazy but I wouldn't change a thing about it!

What a better way to "end" summer (because Labor Day is the unofficial last day of summer) than with a post of this beautiful family at the lake.

Camping and working on this Labor Day weekend. Our camsite up North has NO service so unfortunately (but maybe much needed) I won't be able to reply to anyone until probably Monday unless we make the 30 minute drive to town. I have a couple galleries that I finished up that needed sent out but I wont be able to do that until Monday either so Im sorry to those few people who will be getting their gallery a little late. (Eli cake smash, Cameron's family at the lake and the 1st breastfeeding feeding group)

Welcome to the BER months.

September, October, November & December… aka the months where everyone suddenly remembers they need family or senior photos.

And I just want to say…

THANK YOU to all of you who rememBERed to book early.

Because if you’re just now thinking, “Oh! We should probably get family or senior photos done!”

Uhhh… you basically can’t.

My calendar is VERY full and I have hardly any availability left while we have leaves on the trees.

So let this be your friendly little reminder for next year:

REMEMBER THIS.

BOOK EARLY.

Don’t wait until the BER months.

Future you will thank you. Your photographer will thank you. And you won’t be frantically messaging photographers in October asking if they have “just one little Saturday left.”

I do have a *few* weekdays left in September and October for full sessions but not many so if you havent booked yet, lets go! I do have a couple fall minis still open too.

Extended family sessions hold a special place in my heart. They are so much fun (really, they are) and honestly, so meaningful for every single family. You never know when you won't be able to get the whole family together again. Take the pictures. Make the memories. I know everyone is busy but some day, these will be all you have.

The SIXTH group breastfeeding session I've done! These are so meaningful and fun. I'm a little sad that August is ending because I could have done like 4 more of these this year. The mamas were all so amazing, we even had two pumping mamas this time which I was so excited about. I was an exclusive pumper so I know how much work, love and dedication goes into that journey.

If you're seeing these and are saying "I wish I had this"....just do the session. Whether its my group session or you book a mini just for you and your baby. You'll never regret having these memories.
