Vacation starts now! Were headed out for 10 days of camping in the Black Hills. Im still working on the drives and some slow mornings but were going to enjoy this little vacation as much as possible! One of the unexpected perks of this job is getting to see so many of the same families year after year.

I get to watch kids grow, personalities come out and new chapters begin. Somehow, what started as "some family photos" turns into documenting little bits of your story as it changes and grows over time.

I couldn't be more honored to be the person these families choose to come to over and over again. Every single family has a little place in my heart.

Your senior session location is such a big part of telling your story. Think about what feels like you. Do you love the calm of a waterfront, the charm of a bookstore, the open and free feeling of a field of tall grasses, maybe a downtown urban edge?

Once you have a vibe in mind, we can narrow down the perfect spot. I’ve got a ton of options. Pretty lakes, urban alleys, rustic barns, flower farms or open fields, so we’ll find a location that really reflects your personality. Most seniors choose 2 locations that really reflect their personality.

Ive had so many last minute newborn booking messages/emails lately and while I would love to work with every single person who inquires, I just cant.

If youre expecting, I highly recommend booking in the 2nd trimester. While I can squeeze people in occasionally, I cant always and it breaks my heart to say I cant get them in for another 2+ weeks.

Lifestyle sessions are great for babies even up to 3 months so I do always have a spot for you but it may not be in the squishy, brand new newborn stage.

My summer is already crazy so definitely dont wait to book anything!
