my last autumn trip to Shanghai - Wuzhen - Hangzhou, which is a basic starter route in China for everyone I know. I made a video moving version but it's just to heavy to upload 🤣 if you know me and my travel style you will know i don't prepare everything before the trip but rather go spontaneously. But this trip had a whole level of preparation that required you to do: the local apps, the infos etc. but luckily everything is going well~
one of our best decisions was staying in Wuzhen for one night which we can enjoy the whole place in the evening and in early morning 🫶
my tips for everyone going on this route:
- prepare every local apps needed beforehand: Alipay, Wechat, Amap, XHS, Dianping, Didi, Taobao etc.
- when going to Wuzhen, if you need to do anything outside the inner area (for example going to dress up for a photoshoot), try to do everything first before going too deep in 🤣 might be very lazy to go out again
- try online orders in China: it's fun and convenient. If you miss out the chance to eat something, just order them to your place 🫶
