And now, we’re going farther than ever before.
For five years, The Mermaid Experience has offered luxury photography adventures in Turks & Caicos—born from a dream shared by Makayla and Martin to blend travel, creativity, and community at the highest level.
Now, we’re ready for our first international chapter.
We are thrilled to announce our April 2026 trip: Vietnam—a destination photographers around the world dream of exploring.
This journey is elevated even further with the support of local professional photography tour guides, experts who already lead world-renowned photo expeditions for guests of all skill levels.
Plus, we’re collaborating with local Vietnamese models alongside our signature travel models, creating a rich fusion of culture, beauty, and authentic storytelling throughout the entire adventure.
✨ The Journey
We begin April 25 in Hanoi, easing into the creative flow with a welcome dinner and a guided photo walk through Old Hanoi’s temples, markets, and winding streets.
From there, we explore the cinematic beauty of Ninh Binh and Hoa Lu, followed by a luxury overnight cruise on Ha Long Bay, where each guest enjoys a private balcony cabin—perfect for those golden hours over emerald waters.
A short flight brings us to Da Nang, leading into three days of curated beach sessions, temple shoots, and the magic of the Hoi An Lantern Festival.
In Hue, we’ve secured rare editorial access to ancient temples, creating breathtaking dynamic scenes.
