After many years of holding a camera and shooting various genres, generally and weddings specifically, for me personally, what I ultimately want each wedding photo to retain is the genuine emotions and authentic selves of the individuals I capture. The more I photograph, the less importance I place on technique, trends, or ideas; instead, my focus is on revealing the true essence of each person in front of my lens. To me, things like technique, ideas, or trends all follow a cyclical pattern – they develop, then decline, then come back again in a loop. The most important thing that consistently endures throughout it all is humanity. Once you grasp this, even if it's just a completely plain white space with nothing else, you can still capture everything simply. And the simpler things are, the more timeless their beauty becomes.
