Anyone who has traveled through the southern provinces of Vietnam knows that the former Ba Ria-Vung Tau province offers more than just the beaches of Vung Tau; it also boasts vast fields and sprawling forests, much like the provinces of the Central Highlands. The parish I visited is a perfect example: nestled amidst endless forests, it enjoys a cool, lush, and peaceful atmosphere—truly reminiscent of Da Lat.

It is a place of stunning scenery amidst vast, rolling hills and fresh air, making it an ideal setting for prayer and spiritual reflection.

This parish is literally one of the most difficult places to get a panoramic shot with just a phone. Because the parish grounds are mostly occupied by a parking lot, it’s very difficult to take a picture from below without hitting the corrugated iron roof.

It’s best to use a drone to get a top-down view like the one in the comment below (I took the picture from the Archdiocese of Saigon).

The new church will be inaugurated and consecrated next Tuesday.
