Now he’s carefully honing and preserving a gastronomic jewel in the Oxfordshire countryside with his culinary godfather

Throwback to a lovely portrait created of Chef Gabriel Waterhouse for Four Magazine. Gabriel’s manner lent itself to a frame of wild flowers and his quiet contentment and calm in not looking directly down the lens. I had the pleasure of dining there and it was similarly serene, calm and beautiful - complex dishes served peacefully, with finesse and humanity. Really moving
