There’s something about watching the sun go down over this island that resets my soul every single time. 🌊

I get to do what I love in the place I love, surrounded by families and faces that make this community feel like home. Every session, every portrait, every laugh I capture behind the lens is a reminder of how blessed I am.

Los Ojitos is all about FAMILIA

The entire idea behind Los Ojitos has always been family. Its name came from my grandfather himself. I vividly remember him asking me “y los ojos” when he wanted me to make a silly face and flutter my eyeslashes.

Now Los Ojitos brings in the entire FAMILIA.

The most beautiful part of all this is that it happened so organically or maybe it was God working quietly until I listened.

Alejandra Pm de Garza mom tagged along for the girls’ session but unbeknownst to her I asked her to get in for ONE photo. “Sola una foto, porque no?, solo va ser para el recuerdo de las niñas” and here I am posting it

Marcy Sáenz Salinas came in for her babies session but I couldn’t help and ask her to get in ONE photo.

And Elizabeth came thinking that her Los Ojitos session was for her kids, pup and Grand Champion silkie hen but Juliette wanted mom to dance with her so dancing they did.

Why wait to get in the photo? Why wait for a “perfect” time? Why not now? We’ll maybe not NOW but at our next Los Ojitos date.

Took photos of the Dietz girls and let me tell you…I hope these girls stay this cool forever. I love that every Los Ojitos Collection is unique to each child in their own way.

One thing that has become routine though is ending the session with a DANCE PARTY because there really isn’t any other way to end such a fun session.

Well it’s pretty simple; because color can be pretty but black & white is honest. It’s just her…the gap tooth, the real laugh, the moment.

Okay, some may argue there’s many other emotions…like the ones we go through when editing the photos☺️😬🫩🫠🧐🤩🫣 but the one with a camera in my hands is my favorite.
