This was finished some time ago now - a commission for Erskine Veterans Activities Centre West, a portrait of King Charles III.
I felt very honoured to be asked and I’m pleased to say the finished piece was very well received.

I’m very pleased my two paintings, David Bowie 02 and Surrender, have been accepted to appear in the Big Art Show, Paisley. I love painting this abstract style using vibrant colour, what do you think?
The exhibition opens on 30th August and runs until 15th November 2025. Now in its 4th year, this fantastic exhibition is one of Scotland’s largest exhibitions and I look forward to seeing some amazing artwork.

The view from The Local, last night’s dining recommendation, (great choice!).
The Beef Stifado was deeeelicious!
Followed by the view from, what has become a regular stop for desert, coffee and the occasional cocktail, Cactus cafe/bar.
