This farm offers agricultural, recreational and spiritual activities. Upon entering the main entrance, you are welcomed with lots of plants and livestock and also a foul odor caused by animals. After passing this 1st part of the farm, that odor disappears and you will get to enjoy the great view of the big cross and the lake. The pilgrimage site is known for its "Stairway to Heaven" that has 456-step stairs going to the big cross. For asthmatic and senior citizen, there are golf cars available to drop you to a shorter route going to the top of pilgrimage hill.

Here's another Mabinay tourist spot. Get to enjoy the aquamarine blue hues or crystal clear spring waters especially on wet days. This resort offers overnight stay. You can do kayaking and swim on the spring itself but be sure to wear life jacket for the middle part is quite deep.

If you want a glimpse of what's underneath us, try Bulwang Mabinay Caves. Mabinay is the Cave Capital of the Philippines. Adventurous travelers should explore this one. For intense and deep caves, a training is needed especially some needs to do rapelling to get to the mouth of the cave.

"Locals claim there are over 400 caves in the municipality. Roughly 100 are known and 50 of them were explored and identified by some Dutch-Belgium team 25 years back. Seven of these caves can be visited and explored." -Dumaguete.com Team

Tinuy-an Falls is a multi-tiered waterfall located in Bislig, Surigao del Sur in the southern island of Mindanao. The falls measure 95 meters or 312 feet wide and 55 meters or 180 feet tall. The largest waterfall I've seen in my whole life. It's height is equivalent to a 10-15 storey building. Just wow!

One of the wonderful beaches I've been. Previously known as Jurassic Beach Park/Resort. Offers clean beach, clear water, surprisingly less salty water. I can say this one is a virgin kind of resort. Island hopping and boat transfers were cheap. I love how locals welcome tourists like us. I would go back here someday.

The twin lakes of Balinsasayao and Danao have formed from a volcanic eruption some 10,000 years ago and the 90 meter deep craters over time have filled up with water from rain and stream deposits, resulting in the two lakes, separated by a narrow mountain ridge. -JonnyMelon

There's a lot of myth surrounding this lake. Just be discreet as what the locals instructed while wandering the mysterious and chilling place.
