Very sorry for not giving updates lately...been seeing a wide variety of things while house hunting in a pretty large radius around Tulsa. It's been fascinating for sure!

Was a fun day...trying to get some great pics to use for painting references!

Update pics.
Almost finished with the painting / sanding, painting / sanding parts.
Annnd using a sure fire method of getting more precise color matches now.

I've been utilizying small ' sanding blocks ' and 3000 grit paper. You can bet this board is getting super smooth!!
It is impossible to tell where I have filled in the chipped off areas. Where the alligatoring was and majority of the age cracks already.

This project doesn't have a dead-line.(And I've had a nice learning process)
The next board , which is identical... I'll be able to zip right through!

A quick update:
This is my recent commission. * The last two photos are ' before ' I started working some magic. Also. ..I will add that it isn't just a matter of painting the playing field - all of the chipped off, cracked paint and the alligatoring has to be addressed as well. With lots of patience & super fine sandpaper ... this finish will be as smooth as possible.

Having fun @ the studio! Whoot !! 😁
