10 years. 10 long years we’ve all had to suffer through without you. As long as it’s been it still feels like it was just yesterday you left. Most of us have learned to move on without you, and I think you’d be proud of where we all are. Sometimes it’s hard to believe I ever even had someone like you in my life. Someone who could lift me up whenever I was down. Just being in your very presence brought an energy like I’ve never felt before. I still get small glimpses of that whenever I think of you. Most times it brightens my day, but sometimes it hurts even more because I realize what I’ve lost. Despite that I’m so goddamn thankful that I had someone like you for the time that I did. The way of life you stood for, your ideals, your pretty carefree and positive attitude. They all live of through all of us, after all this time. So all I have left to say to you is thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. For everything you did to change my life. I don’t know where’d I’d of ended up without you.
