The Gulf Coast Kiln Walk Society is proud to partner with Juana's New Years Day for the annual Penguin Plunge. There will be much pottery and other good items in the raffle baskets such as a two day stay at Pelican Resort in Destin. All proceeds support the building fund for the new Ceramic Art Center to be built in Navarre, just 6 miles up Hwy 87.

Love my Sherrill Mud ribs!! They are good for more than clay, screen printing experiment number 4 in progress! Somehow I nailed the exposure my first time around, which made this process seem easy but I have yet to be able to get a proper exposure since. Pretty sure my emulsion was applied too thick so I ordered some proper scoop coasters to properly spread the emulsion on my screens. Hopefully this will make for more consistent applications and better exposures. This process is adjacent to old school photography processes so I am having a blast and getting inspired, who knows I maybe I will bust out some film!
