I feel like a lucky lad having grown up in Karratha and Perth, Western Australia. As a country kid, you get a real tight bunch of friends and spend most of your time outdoors in warm weather. The city taught me to let my creativity be free and that’s when I decided being a photographer was what I wanted to do. We had a lot of pictures and albums around our house. Documentin
g family events with my camera and being creative with music was something I really enjoyed. It was only natural that I put the two together and photographed some of my favourite bands. I think that’s where I learnt how to capture those amazing spontaneous moments you often see at weddings. I still document our lives now, using my digital, polaroid and film cameras. I put together our own books when Frankie & I travel. It helps preserve the memories of our trip, share our stories with our friends and I hope one day when Frankie's old enough, this will encourage her to travel and show some artistic flare. Photographing my first wedding changed my life, I knew what I truly wanted to do now and I have been ever since. After completing my Advanced Diploma in Photo Imaging, working with some of the most talented photographers from Australia and winning a handful of awards along the way, I knew I was ready. THIS IS HOW WE DO IT! We’ll keep your day fun, relaxed, and running smoothly. Photographing you in beautiful light, making sure you look your best and documenting those special moments with a journalistic approach is key to telling the story of your wedding day. After your ceremony and when everyone has congratulated you with a kiss and a cuddle, we’ll head off for the location shoot. With most of the formalities and nerves of the day over, you’ll get to enjoy your time with your bridal party and those moments together as new husband and wife. When you look back at your images in the coming years, you will reconnect to those feelings and remember the day as if it were yesterday.
