Exciting news to share today 🥳

Not one ☝🏻 but TWO ✌🏻 of my images from 2025 elopements won Elopement Legend Awards!!

Fewer than 7% of entries are selected for an award, and I was fortunate enough to have two picked. ✨️🥹

Feeling so grateful for all the love my 2025 couples are getting. 🫶🏻

I have more exciting news to share with y'all, but those things will be saved for the near future. 👀

"No taksies backsies" 🫶🏻

S + Q traveled from Indiana to Arkansas with their family for an intimate elopement at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs. They rented out a few cozy Airbnbs all clustered together just outside of the downtown area to spend a few days visiting one of the best towns we have here in the Natural State 🥹

Eureka Springs is seriously such a great place for an Arkansas elopement. Everything you need for a great trip and elopement experience is right in town. ✨️

This is for the couples who aren't afraid to elope in the romance of rain and mud 👀

Alaska will be looking like this in about two months.

Snow-capped mountains, lush greens, and moody rains. ✨️🌧

Dress soaking up the adventure, bouquet dripping with life. 🥾💐

I've seen Alaska under sun and clouds and I truthfully don't think I could pick a favorite for an elopement adventure.

Let's talk about re-marriage.. To your ex in this case 👀

❤️ S + M were married 24 years. Raised kids until they went out on their own, the whole nine yards. Then they went through a funk. And they decided it was best to go their separate ways.

That lasted like a week 🙈

❤️ Not being together immediately didn't feel right. They started dating again, and that led to moving back in with each other, and that led to the decision to get re-married.

❤️ So they got the suit, the wedding dress, the flowers and cake - and a new marriage license. They renewed their marriage in the home they had shared for years of their marriage, what better of a place?

The truth is, some of us will go through more than one marriage. I think that's often seen as a taboo subject for us wedding vendors to discuss. Of course we want all of our couples to have a long, happy, and successful marriage. But s**t happens. How incredibly special is it that we get to try again, though? So many circumstances can lead to another marriage in our lifetime. Whether that be with an ex lover or someone new, love finds a way. And love is always worth celebrating. 🍾 ❤️

A lovely vow renewal at Cooper Chapel ❤️

Vow renewals are such a special way to reflect on how your relationship has changed and grown since you got married.

✨️ It's a chance to write new vows to each other after having the chance to experience both love and hardships alongside them.

✨️ To have a special way to celebrate your 5th, 10th, 20th, anniversary - or whenever you want to highlight the occasion, even two years like these cuties.

✨️ To celebrate in a way you never got to when you first got married.

Wedding days can be chaotic. Life can be chaotic. Things change, and as we grow with our partners, we change. There's not a better way to celebrate that growth, or to have a fresh start, than an intimate vow renewal where you profess your love for each other all over again and make new, stronger promises to each other.

There's a misconception that elopements are just photoshoots in wedding attire.. But they're so much more than that.

✨️ They're those quiet moments of looking at yourself in the mirror as you get ready for the big day you marry your spouse.

💫 Those moments of goofing around at your lodging the morning of your destination elopement with your small circle of friends and family you brought with you.

✨️ Laughing and crying as you promise yourselves to each other at the altar.

💫 Your favorite people crying and clapping as you seal the promise with a kiss.

✨️ The hugs you give each and every one of your loved ones after the ceremony.

💫 The adventure of the day you got married.

Exhanging vows and honoring your love in a unique and meaningful way is not "just a photoshoot". Those photos will express the magic of the day you married your spouse, forever.

These nature inspired glass chapels are some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the world. 🌎

💫 There's 360° views of nature through clear glass windows and unique architecture.

🌿 Being inside these glass chapels gives a sense of tranquility and connection to Earth, while enjoying the comfort of the indoors no matter the weather outside.

✨️ 'Ethereal' and 'Holy' are often words used to describe being inside these venues - if not for religion but the art of intention that came from the designs of famous architect E. Fay Jones.

Couples from all over travel to Arkansas for destination weddings and elopements at these three stunning venues. Would you? 👀

Day-after sessions are a perfectly reasonable excuse to get dressed up in your wedding attire and go somewhere scenic, like Petit Jean State Park. ✨️

📷 Maybe you didn't get enough couple's portraits on wedding/elopement day because of chaotic timelines or bad weather.

🌿 Maybe you just want photos of you guys in a different setting, or didn't really have somewhere scenic to take photos before.

✈️ Maybe you guys are traveling somewhere with epic views and thought some new wedding pics would look great there.

💸 Maybe the budget couldn't fit in full-blown wedding or elopement coverage with the ceremony, reception, and all.

🤧 Maybe you were sick the day you got married and want a redo on photos.

There's plenty of reasons why couples choose to do day-after sessions, and they're all completely valid. You deserve to have as many photos in as many places as you want in your wedding attire! 🫶🏻

C + T chose to elope privately at home with their closest loved ones back in their hometown, then met up with me on Halloween night for a spoopy time exploring Petit Jean. 🎃👻

Yes, that's a sock store sign we took a photo in front of 🧦 (Barefoot is their last name! 👣). The couple specifically requested it saying "this is gonna sound weird, but..." 😂

A + S wanted to elope in Eureka Springs. It's a great honeymoon spot, and a big bonus that it's so q***r friendly. But - they wanted to elope somewhere different from where everyone usually elopes in Eureka Springs.

✨️🦋🐚🔮 Enter Quigley's Castle 🔮🐚🦋✨️

Quigley's Castle was intentionally crafted by Elise Quigley in the 1940s. The woman was driven to have her dream home, to the point she asked her children to help her tear down their lumber home one day while her husband was away at work. 🫥 They had no choice but to start building the home she was envisioning. 😂

🪟 There's 28 huge windows for natural light (it took years to get these during the war, so they had to cover the openings to survive the winters).

🌸 There's bare earth along the edge of the living space to bring the outdoors inside - the oldest plants in here are 70+ years old!

🏡The house exterior was covered in fossils, crystals, arrowheads and more that Elise had been collecting since she was a child.

🦋 There's a bedroom with an entire wall of butterfly taxidermy

🎨 The property is full of homemade art and love for nature

❤️ Today, the house is registered with the National Historic Places on HGTV and owned by her great granddaughter, who has welcomed people inside to marvel at the family home as a popular tourist stop. It's truly a remarkable place with so much love and thought put into it.

This easily became one of my favorite unique elopement spots in Arkansas after this day.
