Many companies have a branding style and are wanting to match new staff member images to that of the existing team. Even if I didn’t photograph your existing team, if you can provide me with an image you want me to match, I can take care of the rest. Of course this works even better if I am taking care of all your headshots and you just nead to maintain the image bank of your current team. Many companies that work with me just make a trip to my studio part of their new employee orientation.

Ever interviewed a candidate that doesn’t resemble their business profile picture?
Yup – you’re not the only one!
To get the job you want, try these tips for your new profile picture:
Look approachable – a small but amiable smile should do.
Try a headshot – your face should be in 60% of the photo.
Use a professional photographer– not your selfie cam.
Keep it formal.
A blank background.

The right picture can really rev up your profile. Get a free consultation with me to know more.

Some people can’t help but give you their beautiful open smile, such as this one. Others really struggle with this when a camera is pointed at them and commonly experience some level of anxiety.

A professional photographer has to take control and responsibility for the client’s expression.

Everyone has a beautiful smile but we can’t all produce it when we’re making a conscious decision to do it. This is the time for a full reset and then distraction. When I see the first hint of tension around a smile, I step away from the camera, find a topic of conversation that will lead to a natural, happy expression, and once I see a relaxed smile, I’ll sneak in a couple of shots.

In my simple sessions, which are short and painless, I’ll use the distraction to get a natural expression. My intensive sessions are longer and offer more of a teaching experience, where we’ll work together to break through the barriers, and by the end of the session, you’ll be doing it on your own.
