By the time we are ready for our picture, it was too dark out. Everyone seemed relieved to take the picture inside. B caught a cold, so we both swapped out masks moments before the camera started. She was booted (kindly) to her grandparents’ and then returned home to the den. We shared some laughs as I acted startled when we ran into each other in the hall. 😆 She is feeling much better this evening.

Meet Margaret! One evening, Fish and Hannie were playing restaurant, and Hannie would not respond to anything but Margaret. She was taking the game of restaurant very seriously! B suggested that this be her social media name because she’s the only one that does not have one. And because our dinner table was filled with laughter!

I think we could all use some jumping in the puddle days! Hannie waited all day for “jumping in muddy puddles” and she had to wait until the following day. Her smiles were well worth it, but the sight of worm ruined her fun really fast. She is not a fan of worms.

I had cabin fever today, so Farmer J took me on a driving date to get out of the house. The kids were busy in the hot tub and on the trampoline today. Yogi is making dinner for us tonight and his lasagna will be out of the oven soon.

I am finally feeling a creative kick again and I love it! We had the much adored James over yesterday and he helped to get great smiles from his youngest fan. The kids have been busy with early morning workouts and now they are trying to enjoy one final day off before the school routine begins again tomorrow.

Happy Sweet 16th Birthday, B! You will always be my baby. You are a strong and brilliant young lady with a competitive side like I’ve never seen before. Family Monopoly Junior game today? 😘 Maybe this next year you will master turning off your closet light and putting your dishes in the dishwasher. 😂 I love you, sweet girl. I am so happy to be celebrating your birthday with you.

Championship basketball game this evening! Yogi is pumped and so is the family. I am hoping to make it back into town to see the big game.

This weekend was filled with basketball, dance, and an early Enos Christmas. If you need me, I’ll just be loving on my babies and enjoying these moments with family.
