HOLY HELL these two were really something special. we all strive for those candid, genuine moments to be the endgame but in order to achieve what you see online or save as inspo, you need to *actually* be present, authentic and candid. it can’t faked. it can’t be manufactured. THAT’S what makes it all special! and if we can learn one more thing from these captures right here is that we should never, ever sleep on that sunrise lighting 🤌🏼🤤

I used to spend an ungodly amount of time trying to make every single photo look perfectly cohesive. It didn’t matter if I shot it in broad daylight, at blue hour or with flash on a crowded dance floor. I wanted every capture to “match.” But here’s the thing! Backdrops are unpredictable. Lighting changes. Energy shifts. Emotions vary. And it’s okay for your photos to reflect all of that.

Instead of forcing uniformity, I now lean into it. I play with composition and editing to capture the vibe of each moment as it actually felt. A little warmth here, a touch of coolness there. Grain and sharpness. Black and white mixed with true-to-color. Filmy vibes one shot and the next with crisp, clean tones.

All those layers help tell the story of your day exactly as it unfolded and somehow, it all still fits together beautifully in the end. I like to call it…art. 🤌🏼🖤
