Ottawa Studio - Permanent Closure - December 31, 2024

After years of capturing special moments, unique personalities, and creating art in my beloved Ottawa studio on Murray St., it’s with great sadness that I announce the closing of Neon Lilith Photography’s doors here in Ottawa. My last day at the studio will be December 31, 2024.

This space has been more than just a studio—it’s been a home for creativity, connection, and transformation. While it’s sad to say goodbye to this chapter, I’ve made the difficult decision to close the studio due to personal health reasons. As a result I’ll be ceasing all professional activity until further notice as well (see below for service availability).

That said, this isn’t a goodbye—it’s a new beginning. When the time is right, I plan to continue my artistic journey, exploring new inspirations and sharing fresh creations with you all. I hope you’ll follow along on social media as Neon Lilith Photography evolves.

Thank you to everyone who supported me, worked with me, and helped bring my vision to life in Ottawa. Your encouragement has meant the world, and I’ll carry these memories with me always.

Here’s to healing, new horizons, and the magic of possibility.

As a result of the upcoming closure, I am not accepting bookings for any sessions taking place after December 31, 2024.

I am unfortunately no longer accepting new bookings for the following services: weddings, engagements, events, and outdoor sessions. I do not offer passport or document photos at this time.

Any bookings already made will proceed as scheduled. Long term clients can inquire about any final sessions by contacting me directly.

STUDIO UPDATE: Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, the studio remains closed for in-person appointments. I am keeping a close eye on restriction updates and I'll be sure to let you know when portrait sessions are back.

In the mean time, product photography is still available and curbside pickup of purchased prints continues by appointment.

Services currently available:

- Product photography - available for products that can be dropped off and picked up from the studio. Sessions on location are not taking place at this time
- Placing orders for photographs from past sessions
- Curbside pick up of photo orders and artwork prints
- Consultations for wedding/engagement/event (available by video or phone)

And of course, you can reach out to me via social media, email, or phone, to book a tentative date for your portrait session, arrange for product photography, or ask any other questions you might have.

I’m happy to announce that my Ottawa photography studio will be resuming all photo sessions as of tomorrow! Bookings are now open for dates starting June 12th onward. To book your session, you can contact me by messaging me here, by email at [email protected], or by giving me a call at 613-869-6775.
Here are a couple of photos from one of my favourite sessions I did shortly before closure - Juris Doctor and Juris Dogtor ❤️
Though convocations are cancelled, grads still have the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments, wear the robes, and have their portraits taken at my studio. Robes available include uOttawa JD Law (with shirt and tabs), standard university robe, and standard high school robe.
Toronto sessions are presently on hold as the city has not yet entered Phase Two of reopening, but look out for updates!

Today my studio celebrates three years in business! Time really flew by and I’m so happy to be doing what I love. There are no words to express how very thankful I am for the ongoing support of my friends, family, and for the absolutely wonderful clients, new and returning, whom I have the pleasure of working with. Thank you! ❤️🎉

I also got some good news and it looks like I will be able to return to capturing your special moments sooner than I expected - I am presently taking tentative bookings for June but might be able to open my doors even sooner. I have a waiting list for those who would like to be notified when I’ve resumed all sessions for Ottawa and/or Toronto. To be added to the waiting list, please message me with your name and email and you’ll hear from me again soon.

In light of recent events related to the COVID-19 outbreak, I made the difficult decision to close my studio doors and postpone all appointments for the next two weeks. Though photosessions will not be taking place, I will continue to work from my home office on processing orders, editing photos, and delivering finished digital images.
✔️Services available throughout the closure:
- placing orders from sessions that already took place
- purchasing gift cards
- purchasing photo prints from my past exhibitions
- booking inquires
- product photography (for items that can be dropped off and picked up after the session)
- purchasing photo licences
✔️ Please support your local small business by purchasing their products online, buying gift cards to use in the future, or settling up any outstanding invoices you might have with them.

✔️ Just like other small businesses who decided to close or suspend their services, I am forever grateful for your ongoing support. I hope to fully reopen in the first week of April.
💕 On a personal level, this has been difficult not just financially. I only recently returned to work full-time after several months of hiatus due to my poor health. Being able to go back to work full-time and see myself get things done gave me a lot of hope for a full recovery and getting back to a normal life again soon. I fully understand how much health is worth. I thank you again for all the love and support.
