Urgent: Humanity's Turning Point with AI – Please Read!
I understand that most of you have a lot going on in your lives. But I also understand that the majority of us are either unaware or indifferent about the impact of AI on humanity in the near future (yes, in the near future). AI is already here, whether we like it or not, and it will soon be the dominant force on this planet. As an IT specialist, I have been sharing my worries about AI for many years. Sadly, I have received almost no feedback for any of those posts!!!. Last week I shared an article by “The Center of AI Safety” with the title “Mitigating the risk of extinction from AI…” Until now, there has not been a single share, like, or comment on that post. A year ago, I said it would be worse than the pandemic we went through! Same outcome - no response. During the same period, I did a post about my visit to Future Museum and it got 63 reactions and 10 comments.
ChatGTP 4 has an IQ of 155 and Einstein had 160. Most of us still don’t understand what Einstein was talking about!!! It is a known fact that AI is evolving 10x per year – I hope you can realize where it is heading in a few years, if not in months! People reacted the same way when the pandemic broke out in Nov 2019. “First it was the ignorance, then arrogance, then debate, then blame, then agendas then benefits – mine vs yours”(Time stamp 58:44 on the video).
“Humanity’s stupidity is affecting the people who have done anything wrong! Our greed is affecting the innocent ones! Current efforts are all to beat the next guy - not to improve the quality of human life.” “For someone’s life to be affected by the action of another without having a say and how those actions should be is the ultimate stupidity of Humanity”– Mo.
Our excuse: “If I don’t, someone else will” – this is the Oppenheimer moment for AI.
“AI will not take your Job, a person using AI will take your job!”

This is a nearly 2-hour discussion/ Podcast featuring Ex-Google (chief business officer for Google X ) - Mo Gawdat (8 months ago – before ChatGPT 4.0, Google Gemini 1.5, etc) who expresses his concerns about AI and where it is heading.
He says “It will be the most existential debate and challenge humanity will ever face. It is bigger than climate change, way bigger than COVID and will transform the world we live in in an unprecedented way, which is imminent!!!”
Requesting someone to spend two hours watching a YouTube video is asking too much, and I apologise. But I urge you to make time and listen to it – It is the least you can do (for now). At least you would recall – hmmm, remember, that guy was trying to say something….
