Eeeek our river turned into a loch yesterday. . . Thankfully we didn’t get flooded in fact it didn’t come as close as this time last year.

It’s the little things . . .
First proper garden for years . . . And there is a lot of it - most of it is busy doing it’s own thing - in a re-wilding way . . . Also some wonderful surprises and a few things we have achieved . . .
1 my nasturtiums grown from the seed of last year’s - all grown in pots.
2 pink foxgloves everywhere and then this one precious white one popped up.
3 I bought three little passion flowers and this one is getting
ready to produce some blooms.
4 sweet peas, bit late - grown from seed - but coming on nicely now - just need a bit more sun.
5 this Astrantia popped up all on its own - just the one plant.
6 hoping this is hare’s foot clover - it is growing in the silty soil down near the river.

This was in my memories on FB and I can feel my photography mojo peeping through the clouds.

Last time I counted the marbles in my handbag - which aren’t even mine - the marbles that is, not the handbag otherwise it would be bad grammar . . . Where was I? Oh yes, marbles - well there were only six. I checked again today and now there are eight . . .marbles - not handbags, although I have collected handbags over the years . . . Mostly worn out now - the handbags . . . Oh do keep up . . . Anyway here is the proof of the marble count. #

This lovely Lilly popped up in our garden in several places. Only one flowered so may need to move them all to somewhere more suitable. Loving discovering new flowers etc in the wild garden we have inherited. #
