Suzan is a beautiful client who has retired recently and now is embarking on a new adventure. She has signed up for a talent agency and was in need of portfolio pictures depicting her in different scenarios showing a range of possible interests. Erin is an author of the book titled “Augland.” She booked me to photograph her personal branding photos for social media, website and her book photo.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, Erin Carrougher is a speculative fiction author whose debut novel, Augland, is set in Seattle’s not too distant future. While her day-to-day work is all business, she enjoys fantasizing about dystopian worlds in her free time.

When not writing on her comfy couch next to her dog, Griffen, Erin loves cooking, reading, binge-watching reality television shows, and enjoying the outdoors. She’s a proud auntie of Annabelle and Wyatt, her two favorites until more come along. While not an avid sports fan, she does fancy watching the Seahawks dominate with her husband, Joe, friends, and family.

What is Personal Branding?
As the name states-personal branding is PERSONAL and demonstrates clearly who you are and what you/your brand stand for.

To create your personal brand these questions should be answered.

How do I want to be seen?
What is it that I do?
What do I stand for?

The answers to these questions will help point you to right direction when deciding the types of images will work for you.

For example:

Images of you
Images of you taking part in activities or demonstrating your services or products
Images showing how you spend your time. energy and charity
These images will create a design pattern of your brand. This will show your clients who you are and what you can do for them. It is definitely a way of connecting with the world and your future clients

Monique is currently writing a book, which is currently in the editing phase, titled "Juniper". The book is about a lonely teen who, after meeting a clairvoyant cancer patient devotes herself to finding a cure in hopes to psychically reunite with her missing father.
She booked a Personal Branding session in order to have photos to use on her website and social media. These photos are just a few from her session. I found Monique to be a very nice and gentle woman who wants to contribute to the world in a loving way.
