Sunday the 21; Fall Fest 10am-3pm at Sunnybrook Farm Museum with The Mom Market Red Deer

Finally got my studio set up, clean, organized, to about 95% of my satisfaction enough I can tell my perfectionist brain to shushhh.

I’ll just be making art for me for the time being, my mental health desperately needs it.

Went and supported an amazing friend of mine on her first few days open. If you want to support local (you should) and you love thrifting….especially a store that has items that have all been lovingly cared for go and check out Ruby's Gems !!!! So many amazing finds 🥰

Fall is my one of my favourite seasons. Photographing the end of life is something I enjoy. I know it sounds a little macabre but fitting since its spooky season.

Getting back into the swing of things!! Lets start with a photo I took last night around Midnight.
After our freak hailstorm, the fog just rolling off the ponds with the almost full moon Illuminating the landscape. And those beautiful whispy clouds I love so much. Its crazy what mother nature creates when we choose to just sit and soak in all its beauty. I challenge you to all just sit in Nature for an hour, 30 minutes, or even 10 minutes. See what you can find, the smells, or even the feeling you get when the soil touches your hands.

Feeling inspired on this mini vacation to Beautiful B.C. did a few quick sketches and threw a bowl for the first time in 7-6 years, just like riding a bicycle 😎😂...still lumpy and uneven 😂.

Hopefully this gets the juices flowing when we get home 🎆🎆💞💞
