It's been a while since I've been behind a camera to shoot a wedding and gosh, did it feel good to get creative again. A big shout out and congrats to my cousin, Ashley Labelle and her husband Darryl Scott! Thank you so much for asking me to capture your day. While I was in Mexico, I had the opportunity to do a little mini photo shoot for our good friends, Dwayne and Jen Hansen who are celebrating 20 years this year. For those curious, I am always open to destination weddings and photo shoots. :)

I love that just a couple hours before their wedding, I caught a picture of the bride and groom going down the tube slide at Camp Cedarwood. A fun-filled day!

I haven't posted much lately, but this bride wanted a sneak peek. :) I have to admit, in my 15 years of wedding photography, I have never seen a storm hit an outdoor wedding as hard as this one got hit...but these guys were AMAZING about it all! We had 25 minutes to capture all these couple photos...yes, 25 minutes! Including driving time! Thankful for a small town (easy to drive around) and a quick instinct as to what, how and where to shoot. You guys were absolutely wonderful Nadia and Jason - way to go with the flow! :) (Oh and may I add, I have also never shot a bride and groom frolicking on a flooded street! Fun times!)

I had a blast scouting locations after finding out the ruins were already booked. This bride and groom got brand new locations - places I've never shot before. What a blast! It was such a blessing to my creative soul. Thank you Melissa and Thomas for allowing me to be a part of your day and trusting our location picks! So fun! (Oh and shall I add HOT!!!!)
