Frigid air, frozen hands, and a walk back up the aisle that felt exactly how they hoped it would.

Winter weddings have a way of stripping everything back to what matters most, and this day at Owl’s Nest was all about love, connection, and the people who showed up no matter the temperature.

Proof that even on the coldest days, the right kind of love keeps everything feeling just right.

Being photographed doesn’t have to mean being aware of the camera.

Some of the most emotional images come from moments where nothing is being asked of you.
No direction, no pause, no performance.
Just being present inside your own day.
I’m always drawn to the spaces where people forget I’m there.
Where a veil is lifted without thinking.
Where hands find each other instinctively.
Where a moment unfolds and keeps going.
These are the photographs that don’t just show you what it looked like—
they bring you back to how it felt.

Van Horn Estate weddings will always hold a special kind of quiet for me.
Rooted, intimate, and deeply human.

POV: you don’t love being photographed,
but you love how this moment felt.

That’s always the goal. Capturing moments with honesty that bring back memories in their authenticity. You don’t have to be intentionally in front of the camera your entire wedding day, go live it.

A wedding designed with intention — and felt in every moment.

Meg & Mike’s day was layered with warmth, joy, and beautifully considered details. The space itself set the tone — glowing with candlelight, rich textures, and a sense of ease that made everything feel intimate and welcoming from the moment guests arrived.
From the flow of the timeline to the energy in the room, the day felt elevated, personal, and deeply connected.

This is where I love to work — photographing weddings where planning, artistry, and real moments exist seamlessly together. The quiet pauses, the shared glances, and the joy that builds as the night unfolds.

Timeless, intentional, and full of life.

Final stretch this week before these two tie the knot on Friday. Who knew a parking garage in the dead of winter would be such a beautiful spot for an engagement session. Turning love into art - trust your photographer, folks 😜

My last wedding of 2025 🤍

And the most perfect way to close out the year. I started this year capturing a snowy winter wedding at Church Landing, and now I’m ending it the same.

This winter celebration felt quiet, intentional, and deeply cozy—snow-covered paths, soft light, evergreen textures, pearls, candlelit rooms, and moments that didn’t need direction. Just honest, timeless, and full of feeling. Winter weddings have a way of slowing everything down, and this day leaned fully into that calm.

So grateful to end the year documenting something this thoughtful and beautiful.

I’m obsessed with these canvas tiles — they’re gorgeous quality, so easy to assemble, and honestly the perfect gift for family. You can ship them pre-built like I did in this video, or send them flat… ideal for loved ones who live far away (like our crew overseas).

And the holiday cards? Exactly what I envisioned — beautifully printed, fully customizable, and so user-friendly to design on their site.

POV : Your engagement shoot feels like a scene out of a movie, but it’s just a quiet afternoon in your own neighborhood. Warm light, brownstones, and the kind of laughter that makes time stand still.
