This is a difficult post to make and one that I’ve putting off for several weeks. I’ve made a decision for myself and my family that it is time to put a period at the end of the ‘sentence’ that is my photography business.

This was my first career and is possibly why I’ve had such a hard time letting it go. I started my business in Ingersoll, as Pamela Brooks Photography, when I was only 19 and straight out of college (for photography). I would hide my age from clients because I didn’t think they’d trust me if they knew how young I was! I’ve met, shared special moments and laughed with so many wonderful people over the years and had the opportunity to ‘grow’ with couples & families.
Thank you for that.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for helping me.
Thank you for your friendship.

I plan to continue working locally at my fitness business with my husband, Eric. And I am excited about the next step in my journey as I begin work in ministry in a few different ways. God bless you all and please don’t hesitate to keep in touch!

Fall portraits, they've always been my favourite for three reasons:
1. Autumn is my favourite season. I love the temperature, the smell and obviously the colours. Plus my birthday is in the fall!
2. I'm usually a sweaty mess during the summer, so fall is perfect for me while shooting. TMI
3. It's kind of special being invited to take portraits for extended families on Thanksgiving weekend. It's hard for busy families to find a day to get together, so portraits when you're already together makes a lot of sense!
