I developed this portfolio during a recent photography workshop in the Tuli Block in Botswana.

We had to develop a 12 photo portfolio which included the following categories: abstract, landscape, animal in environment, animal interaction, animal portrait, animal movement, human in nature, macro and evening sky/star photography. These photos had to be collected in one central story line.

The portfolio "Encounters" is about our several encounters with beautiful moments in nature. It also links to animal encounters with each other and nature's encounters with itself. If human encounters nature, it can be detrimental to nature. But if we focus on nature's splendour and beauty, we can live together in peace and harmony...
