Hey there, I’m Ilnieke 👋🏼
The heart (and hands) behind the lens at JAVU Photography ✨

I’m currently based in the golden sands of Dubai, but my journey with photography truly began in the heart of Bloemfontein, South Africa. That’s where JAVU was born — inspired by the beauty of the land and the warmth of its people.

I’ve always been drawn to stories. Not the kind written in books, but the ones written in glances, quiet moments, and big emotions. Whether it’s a mother holding back tears as she watches her daughter say “I do,” a couple giggling their way through a maternity session, or two people falling in love with life (and each other) — these are the moments I live to capture. 💛

To me, photography is more than just taking pictures. It’s freezing time — so that when you look back at your images, you feel it all over again. The joy. The tears. The magic. The fairytale moment you shared with the ones you love.
