After high school, Dal Segno decided to pursue a career in music and took up a course in Classical and Jazz Music at the Trinity College of London through the Mmabana Arts Institute in Mahikeng where he became a professional saxophonist. He later took up another course in Music Production from Richfield College where he fined-tuned his music production skill.
​To kickstart his music career as a professional musician and Saxophonist, in 2015 Dal Segno got an opportunity to perform at the Grahamstown Jazz Festival in the Eastern Cape, he also won CAN DO! audition as a saxophonist. Ever since then, he never looked back and started performing at different clubs and events as both a Dj and saxophonist respectively.
