What do you see in this frame?

"I think it's likely that most people will interpret this film from a subjective POV, stuck in the belief that they will always form part of one group or the other. As humans, we always feel the need to categorize ourselves, to put everything in perspective, and by doing this - we sometimes restrict ourselves to live in those little boxes we create.

In a way, we wanted to take advantage of that fact, to drive people towards wanting a certain lifestyle by contrasting the lives that Billy and John lead, respectively. We wanted people to desire that lifestyle, we wanted to create that aesthetic around our client's brand.

But at the same time, we also wanted to portray how this technology, as well as our client's service, can help our society as a whole by bringing hope for a future that is so often-times very much draped in shadow.
Of course, this tech will not be accessible to everybody, but surely, the idea of a future where clean, consistent energy may be available to the masses is a glimmer of hope that we would like to hold on to.

This frame - to me - shows the celebration of shared joy, shared victory, and the ultimate image of community. Two people from different circumstances coming together and being one in the bigger picture of things." - Reinhardt Geyser, Director.
