Some 35mm film for your Friday!

I loved how these colour and texture came out in these images of Maho and Aiichiro’s elopement. The Ultramax film seemed to love the golden hues of evening and shadowy apartment. Overall, just really happy!

If you’re not considering vintage film and digital for your wedding, let this sneak peek convince you otherwise!

This weekend, I had the honour of documenting and .m as they got married, along with some of the most incredible people. It was personal, soft, elevated and just EVERYTHING you could hope for in a wedding couple. I’ve been able to journey with them for months and the build up to this day has been epic. I’m so grateful to share these sneak peeks and I just love it! The digitals capture moment by moment flow of the day, elevating the memories into heirlooms of connection. The film does deep creative work and captures soul. It’s just beautiful - I can’t even!!!

Thank you Musa and Mekayla, the whole team of vendors I got to work with and all the friendly family members who pulled this weekend off. I’m proud to call you friends after this!

A glimpse into all the feels and wonder of Izzy and Jeremy’s wedding this weekend 🙌 (ps. See if you can spot the family sword)

Set on their family’s property in High Constantia, Izzy and Jeremy said I do while terraced between friends, family and acres of fynbos. Their whole day was personal and warm, and you can see their connection soaked into imagery.

I’ve been dying to post these wedding 35mm film shots from and 🙌

Now that the gallery is delivered I can finally share them with you all! I’m so happy with the colour and texture of the images. They believe they hold within them the authenticity of the wedding day.

Some snippets from Deon and Christi’s morning wedding out in Stellenbosch 🤍❤️🤍

I personally loved how Deon committed to his sky blue suit, was the first person at the venue to set up remained the most relaxed person at his wedding. Huge respect!

Beyond that, this lovely couple was authentic, present and made a point of having fun together - which should be the goal.
