Walking the streets of Stellenbosch, Anna and Robbert told us their incredible love story and how they fell for each other even though both come from two very different backgrounds. Looking at these photos, we can truly testify that the love that Robbert and Anna shows for each other is merely a fraction from what it is in true life - and that these two live a life of love that is so incredibly inspiring.

XANDER + JANA / Looking back on spending a sunset with these two beautiful souls 🖤

Hey ya'll
Its been a while since René or I posted something. To be honest, this year has been quite exhausting so far. Between our own personal businesses and general stress we have been distracted. But our hearts still yearn to capture love stories and we are really excited for what lies ahead. We trust for something amazing in this next season of our lives.
We're also gonna try to post more often. Watch this space 🌿

During a ministry trip to Zambia, Jacques and Izelle met each other and started to 'hang out'. Hearing the testimonies from others on this trip, you'll hear that whatever was about to happen in the lives of these two hearts could be spotted from a mile away.

A few years after this particular ministry trip, Jacques and Izelle stood before God and His church to step into a covenant with each other and the Lord.

This is a film dedicated to the love that is found between Jacques and Izelle. We candidly asked both of them to send a voice note without the other one's knowledge, which we used in this film.

Hello,
I am . I am one of the 'R's in The R\R Collective.

I'd define myself as a creative with a deep passion for documenting emotion and all things real. My favorite color is teal but you'll almost always find me wearing black jeans and my red K-Way jacket.

How did I meet René, you ask?
I came across her profile via a community initiative where photographers share each other's work to help bypass the algorithm.

A few days later I received a message from René where in short she wanted to know what my story is. Needless to say I was caught of guard by this random question from someone who I do know. But I felt peace in answering her question. The conversation had to go on and we met each other for coffee. René's husband drove her 60kms from Johannesbrug so that she can go meet a random dude in Pretoria.

Ever since that day the Holy Spirit has been blessing our friendship so much and I have had the privilege to make friends with Bernard (René's husband) as well as Nori, their cute doggo.

Exactly one year ago God laid on both or hearts this venture called 'R\R Collective'. An effort to collaborate both of our unique styles into one and share our love for people and stories.

We now believe that this is a divinely inspired and ordained movement which we are so incredibly honored to be part of.

MEET RENÉ

Hey, I am and one part of the RR collective.

If you like music, deep convo’s and don’t hate on Frisco, we can be friends.
If you wear dark green, we’ll officially be best friends!

On a serious note, having to describe myself, all that comes to mind is that I am easy-going, adventurous and man, my bags are always packed. I’d probably live in another 2 countries during my lifetime, no jokes.

For the avid readers…..

About a year ago, I felt the Holy Spirt prompting me to message someone on Instagram. Someone that I have never met before.

With a straight up: “What is your life story?”, a friendship began.

It is through faith that I met Ruan. God has been slowly revealing a new journey, that we both believe is divinely inspired and an ordained calling. A calling a lot to do with the people we are to meet and less about us and this venture.

So we are excited to see what God has planned and who we are to meet.
