was more than just a race – it became a movement for mental health, connection and purpose.
This past Saturday, I took on the challenge of running a 6km loop every hour, influenced by my Gf who encouraged me (and a few others)to sign up for something bigger than myself.
What struck me most wasn’t just the distance covered, but the meaning behind every step.
Mental health touches each and every one of us – whether directly or through someone we love. Out there on the course, I couldn’t help but think that every runner had their own story, their own battles and their own reason for showing up.
Together, we weren’t just running miles - we were running for awareness, for hope and for each other.
Sometimes running isn’t about speed or endurance, but about being a light, reminding others (and ourselves) that we’re not alone, and that conversations around mental health truly matter.
Here’s to running for something greater.
