UCT Ultimate had a humble beginning as a group of barefooted individuals chasing a disc around on a Friday afternoon before heading to the pub for beer and chips. Of course that still happens, but today it is an officially recognized club at the University of Cape Town with two competitive teams (both of whom attended SA Nationals in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) and a committee dedicated to growing
the club and promoting ultimate in South Africa. NOTICE: We are mostly based either on the Woolsack fields or on the Rugby(Green Mile) Fields (see map descriptions below), but this does change throughout the seasons depending on weather. Keep an eye out for emails notifying of field changes. Training:
