A few moments from the Annual Diplomatic Engagement earlier this year.
Most of our event photography is just watching what is happening and being ready when the right moment appears.
Our aim is to not only capture the groups and formal moments, but also the conversations, the arrivals, the reactions, the atmosphere around the room — these are the photographs that combined with the formalities, tell the story of an event properly.
We tend to work quietly in the background and let things unfold naturally. It usually makes for better pictures.

Headshot or personal branding — which do you actually need?
A professional headshot is usually about one thing: a clear, polished photograph that represents you well. Perfect for LinkedIn, company websites, speaker profiles and anywhere people simply need to see who you are.
Personal branding gives us a little more room to work. Different expressions, clothing, backgrounds, poses or objects can help show more of your personality, profession and the story behind what you do.
Neither is “better”. It depends entirely on what you need the photographs to do.

Sometimes a product doesn’t need a complicated setup to make an impact.
A few carefully filmed details, movement, good light and a clean product shot can turn a single bottle into useful short-form content for social media, websites and advertising.
This little video was created around Baviaans Extra Virgin Olive Oil — keeping the product and its branding firmly at the centre of the story.
Alongside our product photography, we also create simple short-form product videos for businesses that need fresh visual content without a full-scale video production.

Speeches matter. So do the moments on either side of them.
A strong collection of event photographs should tell the whole story: the people who connect, the speakers who hold the room, the guests who lean in and the celebrations that simply cannot be staged.
When we photograph conferences, corporate events and awards evenings, we look for the formal moments as well as the expressions, atmosphere and small interactions that show what the event actually felt like.

Clear bottles on a white background look wonderfully simple. Photographing them so that the glass still has shape, the liquid has colour and the label stays crisp is slightly less simple. 😄
A few recent bottle photographs from the studio — from almost colourless spirits through to rich amber brandy. The aim with product photography like this is consistency: clean backgrounds, accurate colour, readable labels and enough definition in the glass to keep the bottle looking three-dimensional.
We photograph products for websites, online stores, catalogues and marketing, either as straightforward packshots or as part of a larger product shoot.
