Photographers cut of the past few weeks shooting for the mighty Cape Town City FC. Here are a few of my personal favourites 📸⚽️💙

Since day one it has been an experience of rapid spontaneity and a series of deep end learning curves which have taught me a lot within a small pocket of time and continue to do so. I came in having little experience in shooting sports of any kind yet I have always loved to photograph challenging and fast moving subject matter. I like to approach this style of photography as if I too am an athlete training, sweating and working as hard as the team does except I have a time machine in my hands that I aim back at them creating these moments in time that we all look back on.

I have always enjoyed watching and playing sports like football ever since a young age so there is a sense of childhood spirit that comes to life every time I’m around these fantastic players and staff who bring all of their unique ingredients together with a sense of tribal unity.

Thank you to each and everyone at Cape Town City FC 💙✨
