We were lucky enough to see the Augrabies Falls in their full splendor two weeks ago. What an amazing sight! This has to be one of my favorite places in South Africa. There are also tons of other things to do and see around there and the level of agriculture is amazing. As luck would have it however, the water levels have risen even more since I was last there. Maybe time to rush back, what day is it?

The Tankwa Padstal entrance road (see car in background) where all the 4x4 chaps hangout. There is also a festive bar that sells ice-cold beer. Also a welcoming stop on this years Munga Grit, a 500km race through the unforgiving Tankwa Karoo.
