The most beautiful thing happened this week, our son prayed the most special prayer. I told him that the Lord does not care if your prayer sounds perfect or beautiful, but that it is honest and from the heart.
His prayer was filled with a lot of: "Dankie Here vir ons bed en dat U alles so mooi gemaak het", and add more thank you's to that. But it was so special, and I couldn't help but smile and rejoice in my heart.

[16] They asked Jesus, “Do you hear what these children are saying?” “Yes,” Jesus replied. “Haven’t you ever read the Scriptures? For they say, ‘You have taught children and infants to give you praise.’”
Yes, we teach Eli about the Lord and his goodness, but he starts singing songs to the Lord spontaneously while we drive in the car and he now wants to pray.
I rejoice in these moments and I cherish being a mom to our boy. It is one of the most sacred and important callings in my life ❤️
