no place like home

the scenery, the memories, the love that make a mere somewhere feel like home. because home is not a building or a place. home is how your heart beats.

no, they don't own that castle. neither do they have anything to do with the cat. this is just part of what found us on our tour through Adrian's homeland for his and Franziska's after-wedding photoshoot.

no place like home

to photograph Franziska and Adrian for their after-wedding shoot - what a delight! revisiting the wedding venue in the countryside where Adrian grew up brought back so many sweet memories and while grand sweeping vistas, imposing castles and cute romantic cottages are every wedding photographer's dream come true, what mattered in the end were those quiet, intimate moments that the couple shared with me.

i left with my memory cards full of beautiful images and my heart even fuller with warmth. thank you for letting me into something so precious!

A bad weather forecast and an epic rugged landscape turned into the perfect setting for this shoot. On top of everything it was my birthday. Couldn’t have imagined it better. Inspiration was flowing unrestrained and I really love how the photos turned out. Thanks to everyone involved ❤️
