K'nine started his own independent record label Co**se and Raw Bars in 2012. He started going out in parties/clubs due to him being unknown and still learning the art of deejaying, dj’s would let him play for 30minutes at most. His fan base was slowly growing a demand for a podcast from fellow dj’s, friends and fans was increasing daily because not many played the type of music he was/still playi
ng then eventually on the 7th July 2014, CARB I (Part One) dropped, under his label Co**se and Raw Bars which the podcast got positive response that led to him receiving a lot of exposure both locally and internationally. When asked why did it take so long for him to release a mixtape/podcast he answered “...I wanted to take my time and choose perfect songs for the mix. And I needed to learn the industry a bit more. So I was basically gathering information...” [laughs]
K'nine is booked in and around Daveyton and continues dropping podcast that serve nothing but the best of deep house/deep tech/nu-jazz and is still awaiting for a confirmation from his manager then he will kick start his tour in Swaziland. K'nine has a very versatile and unique way of mixing which draws attention and the crowed loves the way he picks his songs(track selection), timing and just getting the mix right(there way mixing should be). With K'nine on the decks even when one doesn’t know the song his playing you can’t help but to dance to what his playing when asked how does he do it he replied “...I was blessed to be able to do what I love! When you enjoy doing what you doing people around you will enjoy whatever what doing...”
