March brings the first of the big thunderstorms, gail-force winds and shear miserable weather to our area, but also some of the most dramatic scenes too. It can be hard to leave the warm comfort of your home or car to go check it out and maybe get a photo or two, but it's usually worth it in the end.

After mapping out the 6km section of coastline between Gansbaai and Die Plaat, i was left with a ton of cool images and data to play around with. The massive orthomosaics turned out to be quite amazing and very rich in geological information.

Some underwater time lapse photography down in our rock pools. These are very tricky to do...😅
I also recorded the ambient sound of this rugged inter-tidal zone with a high quality condenser mic instead of using any music.

Some of my large prints in a new holiday home. The customer wanted a cool ocean theme throughout the house and went for A1 and A0 prints. Bigger is definitely better when it comes to photo on canvas, i was really impressed with these! 🤘
