When we talk to most couples about the stresses of planning a wedding, the answers are pretty unanimous!

Managing the complexities of everyday life and work is already quite taxing, add to that the mammoth task of planning an event that involves hundreds of people, catering, entertainment and other must have’s is no easy feat.

The Big Fat Indian wedding is one of the most difficult things to plan and execute well!

So why do we put ourselves through this stress of planning and hosting such events in this day and age?
The more we attend these events the more our perspectives change.

I think right now, the way the world is, we do it for the connections! Never have we been so close and yet so far from each other as we are now. We see less and less of each other and ultimately make less memories together. Technology in its bid to connect people has created a dome of isolation that not many of us get out off.

Events like weddings allow us the opportunity to live free of that, even if it’s just for a short while!

We wonder if virtual weddings will be a thing in the not so distant future!
