Today’s post is a little more personal than usual. 🤍

Today would have been my mom’s 48th birthday.
Since losing her in December 2023, birthdays have looked a little different for our family but we still celebrate her every single year.

Me and my kids still buy a cake, light the candles, sing happy birthday, and write messages on helium balloons because my son believes that’s how you send messages to heaven.

We spend the day talking about her, laughing at old memories, crying through some of them too, and going through all the photographs we have left.
And since this page was created in loving memory of her, it just feels right to share this here today.

The sad thing is… my mom hated photos. She always avoided the camera, and today I wish more than anything that I had more pictures to look back on.
That’s one of the biggest reasons photography became so important to me.

Take the picture.
Book the family shoot.
Get in front of the camera even when you don’t feel like it.

One day, those photos become memories, stories, comfort, and pieces of the people we love most.

And although I joke around a lot and try to keep things light, the truth is I still wish I could just pick up the phone and call her one more time.

Three generations, one beautiful story…
The laughter, the little moments, the quiet love between them it’s something you don’t just see, you feel.

It reminded me how special this kind of love truly is. My gran was my everything 🤍
Sometimes we forget just how big a role they play in our lives the love, the wisdom, the quiet strength they give us.

Golden light, salty air, and a beautiful family that completely stole my heart.This little girl arrived with the prettiest smile and the biggest personality, full of laughter, twirls, and pure joy. And then baby brother… my easiest little client ever. Calm, content, and just soaking in all the love around him.
But what made this session so special wasn’t just the sunset or the smiles, it was them. The way they love, the way they laugh together… such a genuinely beautiful family inside and out.
These are the moments that matter the giggles, the quiet cuddles, the inbetween magic while the sun slowly disappears.
Family isn’t just what you see… it’s what you feel in every frame 💛
