Mechantia and Angelo got married on the 19th of November 2022 with the ceremony and reception taking place at the beautiful Ironwood Barn.

The venue was a hive of activity as the girls got ready in the beautiful brand new bridal suite and the guys made a grand entrance accompanied by the incredible sounds of superbikes from their local bike club. Thankfully, the rain that the day began with disappeared just before the ceremony and the sun began to peek out in time for the newlyweds to share their first kiss. The gloomy skies had made way for some beautiful golden light and we took full advantage of the picturesque surroundings to get some fun bridal party shots before moving into the tastefully decorated venue for the reception.

Mechantia and Angeloโ€™s wedding was one filled with laughter, tears, great music, lots of dancing and an all-round great vibe that was a perfect display of the love these two share.

Dale and Kelly got married on the 10th of September with both the ceremony and reception taking place at Heritage Kraal.

When Dale didnโ€™t want to offend his other friends by choosing me as the best man, he decided on the next best thing and asked me to film their wedding. Kelly has always been one of my biggest fans so she was obviously on board with this brilliant plan.

Capturing a friendโ€™s wedding is always special, even more so when youโ€™ve known the groom and groomsmen for 20+ years. So needless to say, I was incredibly excited for their big day. A day that Daleโ€™s family and friends thought would never arrive. A day that definitely didnโ€™t disappoint. The time with the guys was hilarious, as expected, and Kelly was incredibly chilled while getting ready. Even when her beloved Jack Russel almost walked off a second story balcony.

The outdoor ceremony in the gardens at Heritage Kraal was full of emotions and excitement and rumour has it that Dale cried as he watched his beautiful bride walking down the aisle. The video evidence is inconclusive but what I can say is that Iโ€™ve never seen him happier. After the photo session, the formalities began and guests were treated to hilarious speeches, shooters for breaking the house rules, a duet between Haig and Jason and a sparkler lit first dance. The party that followed was the perfect end to what had been a perfect day, one that I felt honored to capture.
