Some couples choose a first look. Jess and Colm chose a first touch, and used that time to share their private vows with one another before their ceremony began. No audience, no rush, just the two of them (and us at a respectful distance), holding on and being completely present with one another. I'd never seen this done before, but it's now probably the best thing I think a couple could do for themselves and their connection on a big, busy, wonderful-but-often-busy wedding day.
If this is something you've been thinking about, from someone who's seen an abundance of "reveals" and first looks, go for it. There were more wonderful moments on their wedding day than I can count, but this was by far my favourite!
