GRAVITY- DEFYING MOMENT BY WILLIAMS
Tears couldn't stop flowing from my eyes while watch Ronwen Williams asking for the coach to introduce Skipper and legendary Themba "Mshishi" Zwane during the last seconds of the Caf champions league final against AS FAR on Sunday evening in Morocco. There's a lesson of humility and just being a good person because one can recall that it's Williams who asked Coach Hugo Broos to hand Melusi Buthelezi and Relebohile Mofokeng their national team debut. This is not acting because acting has an expiry date but "Ronza" shown this consistently and that speaks volume because it's clearly his character. Coach Steve Komphela once said that "Football it's a microscopic reflection of the society" and surely the community that the Bafana Bafana captain is coming from in PE should count themselves very blessed.
Even in our churches we are still struggling to find men and women with such humility and I can only hope that this will encourage us to honor and respect others especially those who walked or paved the way for us since that can never dim our light but can only makes it shine even brighter. May Ronwen Williams multiply in our country so that we can have better societies. Williams is a book that requires one to read and meditate on prayerfully so that one can have higher chances of being transformed and eventually transform their societies. Normally when glory beckons, not many consider others. We'll done Skipper for being a good representative of our country in the mist of chaos taking place in various provinces of this beautiful country.
