7 years in, a BUNCH of weddings later (and we are absolutely not counting), here’s what I’d tell every couple to actually lock in on for the day:

Forget perfection. Forget the timeline panic. Forget what’s trending on your feed.

Just focus on these three things:

1. If you want to do it…do it! Say yes to the champagne, the dancing, the detour, the extra hug. it’s your day, not a production line.

2. Trust your vendor dream team. You didn’t hire strangers, you hired people who get it. Let them run the show while you stay in it.

3. Eat breakfast like a main character. Not a rushed bite. Not “I’ll be fine.” Actual food. You cannot romanticise life on an empty stomach 😉

Everything else? It’s background noise.

You’re not here to manage the day, you’re here to live it.

Throwback to 2025 styled shoot season at and honestly, this one still lives rent free.

When the vendors are ALL IN, the whole energy shifts, it stops feeling like “work” and starts feeling like a whole little world coming together.

Behind the scenes is always where the real magic is, the hype, the laughter, the getting ready chaos, the soft “this is actually beautiful” moments in between and what you see is only half of it, the rest is your unofficial hype squad making sure everything feels like something.
