Jeremy Clarkson once summed it up: "It's what non-car people don't get. They see all cars as just ton-and-a-half, two-tons of wires, glass, metal and rubber. People like you or I know, we have an unshakable belief that cars are living entities... you can develop a relationship with a car. And that's just what non-car people don't get." Being a car enthusiast, I firmly believe in the special bond
a car owner has with his car. It is that bond that makes us talk to her, admire her, look back at her when we walk away from her and smile... Cars are not just modes of transportation, they are art figures, each with her own personality, lines and curves - and as all petrol heads will know - she has her own problems and demands. Through photography, I capture this essence of a car. Each line, unique and functional. From standing back and admiring the view, to getting up close and personal with her, getting to know her well. My aim is to remind her owner of her splendorous beauty, and to awaken that small little boy in all of us, with every closure of the camera shutter. I enjoy meeting the proud owners behind the steering wheel of their cars - to hear the stories on how it all came to be; be it a restored classic, boosted up performance car or top end super car, I love hearing from the owners on what they admire about their cars, and why they look after them so passionately. Give me a shout if you would like to arrange for a photo shoot - where we capture these fine things we as car enthusiasts enjoy so much!
