I say yes. But not yet.

Before the brand can be built, the foundations needed attention. The numbers. The structure. The things that don't show up on a mood board but determine whether the brand can hold what marketing will bring to it. There's a reason I chose the title "Integrated Brand Architect" deliberately. Consultants are valuable. Agencies are valuable. But neither is designed to stay.

In 25 years I've watched a lot of businesses make the same mistake when they finally decide to address their brand. They start by changing things.

New logo. New colours. New website. Sometimes all three at once. And six months later they're sitting with something that looks different but doesn't feel more true - because they redesigned before they understood what they actually had.

The businesses that get it right start somewhere else entirely.

They start by looking honestly at what exists. What the market sees when they search the name. What the website says about who you are, versus who you've become. Where the gap is between the reputation inside the business and the impression outside it.

That clarity - just that - changes what you do next. Sometimes dramatically.
